Upon first sight the first thought that came to mind was WOW BLACK! He has the brightness and reflective nature so that the black glistens like you might see on a Ravens wings. He is a very strong solid macho. Sapa has matured into a strong macho who attracts the eye of everyone who sees him. I cannot tell you the number of times we have heard "He is beautiful!" He is coming up on his second shearing and is sporting a seven inch staple of very soft great handling fleece. Judges in two shows awarded him a second and a fourth at WIAFF in a group of 12. As we know we obtain fleece weight in two ways; packing on more fiber per inch or length of staple. Sapa chose the latter. 2025 he begins his breeding career with limited breeding. This is an excellent time to insure you do not miss out on this exquisite male. Judge's comments: Solid, large boned, well conformed male, great stature. His EPD's suggest reduction in fineness, improved consistency, improved or neutral staple length while increasing fleece weight. 2024 1st year shearing 6 pound gross shear and 6.5 inch staple.

Ayashe sheared nearly 4 pounds gross her first shearing and over 8 pounds her second shearing. She is true black, non fading, and non-tipping from birth to today. Jackie provided lingering fineness when bred to Dark Shaddow as seen in Shaddow Spirit. The fineness that Shaddow Spirit began is the same fineness we are seeing in Enna Sapa when bred to Montero. She is a good mother and very attentive to her cria. Her tenth year saw Jackie greying off and today she would be considered a modern dark silver grey. That said her fiber retains the qualities it had in 2010 - soft, supple, and ample.

Andrea's first impression to the hand is extreme density with well organized and defined bundles and crimp. She carries this on a proportional and well conformed frame. She has my mother-in-laws name having had a request from my mother-in-law to name one of our alpacas after her. Who can say no to mom - right? aaannndddD she better be a good one RIGHT? 8 months old she provided 3.8 pounds, 55% blanket, annualized to 5.7 pounds her first shearing. The Michigan Show was an eye opener in that the amount of white fiber in her now true black coat put her in the middle between a dark silver grey and true black which had her color checked as dark indefinite. The exceptional soft hand was repeated when assessing her fleece and was found finer in the class but not as dense as the first place alpaca who was very dense. She was instrumental in placing Wasake in second for Get of Sire. Ultrasound confirmed not pregnant.

The immediate observation was the amount of fleece on this frame. We have never felt a cria that carried enough fiber to mask the frame underneath. The next observation is the curls, and followed by the softness and even texture. Last is the robust frame this little girl possesses. She has developed into an attractive young maiden. October 5th, 2015 I had an occasion to put hands on her for some minor husbandry and was impressed with the soft hand to her fiber. Usually while fleece grows and is short it feels stiff. That is not the case with Bobby Jo. It is soft, flexible, and has a lotion like feel while being a very reflective black. August 7, 2017 she delivered a dandy fawn boy. He is huge, robust, and really really fleecy! Sire is SHVN The Buccaneer.

Chantetinza was trouble from day one. Ayashe went into the barn and called and Chantet wanted to stay in the pasture. Ayashe went into the pasture and Chantet wanted to stay in the barn. Ayashe called and Chantet wanted to play with the other cria. In fact the only time she seemed to have time for mom was dinner. One night quarentined together along with a little friction when she tried nursing from the other mom's got the union between mom and daughter about right. She still has a mind of her own and is fearless approaching new things, like Addy our Yellow Lab. Never saw a dog before so she walked right up and sniffed her no fear. And yet, she walks up, allows us to perform the necessary maintenance whenever required, and has a cooperative disposition. While at Full Tilt Alpacas Chante lived up to her name and provided some real adventures for Lorilee. We selected FTAF's Blackbeard for this 2016 cria to maintain Chante's color, fineness, and staple length while improving consistency and size (Chante is a 120 pound dam). Delivered a dandy True Black male. Just had to repeat the breeding and thanks to Lorilee's generosity and patience. Lorilee thinks Chanti remembers her - not certain that is a good thing- well see...LOL 6-23-2019 delivered a TB male by way of MAMGB Wasake.

Enna touched our hearts from day one and continues to do so with her never ending curiosity regarding everything we do. She has outstanding handle to fleece and is well conformed. She will make a good production female, companion, and fiber alpaca. We would take her to a male with good staple length and more consistency based upon her SD which are the two things that we would like to improve. It is not often we place one of our foundation females available for sale but we do need to move some alpacas from the farm to make room for the cria of today. This is a good opportunity to grasp a black quality production female. 7-15-2019 delivered a TB male by way of MAMGB Iglaspa - MAMGB Hasanni.

There were two words that came to mind when we discovered her in the pasture for the first time - stunning and Exceptional. She is already fully bundled with excellent architecture, very dense, and has a great hand. The black of her fleece just jumps out of the night. As she has matured she is a very good looking female with stunning conformation. We wish to improve her staple length and fineness that is our focus upon breeding this girl while perpetuating that stunning black and conformation. We selected Kodiak for this purpose and this will be one stunning cria. Delivered a smokin hot true black black black male 7/12//2016 named MAMGB Natan Sapa. We are heading back to Kodiak for a 2019 breeding. Looking for a female this time.

Iohitika has a deep luster, yes we said luster to her fleece in a rich black. Some visitors have asked us if we treat her fleece with anything that makes it shine. Of course the answer is "no that is God's work." Our breeding intent is to marry Iohitica's fineness with Papala's density to produce an ultimate black carrying fineness and density. This will move blacks to that level to compete with any color. Merging Iohitika with Papala has moved forward but in a method we will be hard pressed to cross at this time seeing they both delivered boys the first time out but ooo-laa-laaah! Ile boasts that fineness of Iohitika and the density of Pino Noir. Papala's boy Akpaza is showing Papala's density while carrying Wasake's fineness and length into the mix. We like the results but are now looking for girls!

Rather than bouncy we should have named her "Hides in the Night". Her fleece is so black that she disappears when she heads into the unlighted areas of the pasture and simply melts into the dark. We just sheared her and the fleece was scrumptious! Kapsica gave birth to a beautiful black girl on 8-1-2017. She was a bit early for some reason and a "dummy" cria so we had a bit of work to get her to stay with us but it worked and she decided it was a good place to be. We named her cria Maske meaning "Friend" as she partners with us whenever we are around.

When you look at fleece and you want to see it all - good hand, soft, character, bright, and consistent then you will be looking at Kichika's fleece and it comes in black. During shearing she was determined to be "the best show fleece on the farm." Kichica birthed Mazaskazi Sapa 6-7-2016 and although we prefer black when they are this stunning color is secondary. 8-4-2019 delivered a BB MAMGB Ahanhepi boy. His very first!
